The 11th Annual Conference of the Africa Public Sector Human Resource Managers' Network (APS-HRMnet), themed "Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Strategic Human Capital Transformation in Africa's Public Service," will be held from 10th to 13th November 2026 at the Golden Tulip Hotel (Airport), Zanzibar, United Republic of Tanzania. Delegates are expected to register and collect their conference packages on 9th November 2026 at the conference venue.
The conference brings together Human Resource practitioners, scholars, development partners and other key public sector stakeholders from across Africa to share knowledge, exchange experiences and explore innovative approaches to strategic human capital management and public sector transformation. Kenya is represented in the Network through the Africa Public Sector Human Resource Practitioners Network – Kenya Chapter, a member of the broader continental Network.
Participation offers Kenyan and African public sector institutions an opportunity to benchmark human capital management practices, strengthen professional networks and gain insights into emerging approaches to workforce and institutional transformation, including the application of Artificial Intelligence in strategic human capital management.
The Principal Secretary, State Department for Public Service and Human Capital Development (Kenya), invites Senior Human Resource Practitioners and Senior Administrators responsible for strategic human capital management and organizational development to participate. Each State Department is requested to nominate at least five (5) delegates.
Fees: USD 500 per international delegate (conference participation fee) plus USD 100 annual APS-HRMnet subscription fee exclusive of travel, accommodation and other related costs.
